The Vivat Regina Sovereign was issued once in 2015 in honor of the 89th birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the oldest monarch in the history of the United Kingdom.
The inscription "Vivat Regina" stands for "Long live the queen".

This Vivat Regina official coin series was issued to commemorate the 89th birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the oldest monarch in the history of the UK.
‘Vivat Regina’ translates to to ‘Long live the Queen’. The design on the reverse of the coin has a motif featuring a Regal design of national symbols surrounding the shield. A Rose to represent England, a Thistle to represent Scotland, a Daffodil to represent Wales and a Shamrock to represent Northern Ireland.
A limited striking of just 499 coins has been done by the Commonwealth Mint, with each coin being graded by the world leading grading company, Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS), in Paris.
Each graded coin is delivered in a high-quality lacquered box together with a numbered certificate, stating which minting sequence number of the 499 coins that actual coin is.
