The gold coin from Australia with the beautiful annually changing kangaroo has been minted in various sizes in fine gold (99.99%) by the Perth Mint since 1986.
In the first 4 years of issue gold nuggets were minted as a motif, which was then replaced with the kangaroo in 1990.
Since the beginning, the sizes 1/10 ounce, 1/4 ounce, 1/2 ounce and 1 ounce have been minted, which was in 1990 with 1/20 ounce, in 1991 with 2 ounces, 10 ounces and 1 kilogram, as well as from Year 1991 was extended with 1 kilogram of embossing.
Also in 2012 a special edition of 1 ton was presented, which was presented with a face value of 1 million Australian dollars.
