At the same time, the silver content was increased to .999 fine silver in 1989, which is a considerable difference compared to 1987 with 92.50% fine silver and 193 to 1985 with 90% fine silver. The silver coins were minted in various denominations and the quality uncirculated, as well as polished plate.

In 1982 the gold coin appeared, in 1987 the platinum coin, and in 1992 the palladium coin with the same motifs and a precious metal content of 99.99% fine gold or 99.95% platinum and palladium.
