P3 & P2 for Gus Burton in the Carrera Cup

The first meeting of the season started well for Gus Burton in his Porsche, despite poor weather.  A good start saw him move up to 3^rd place where he continued on at a decent pace to finish Race 1 as P3.  A great drive in wet and then very greasy conditions.With reverse grid being the top 5 positions, Gus started in P3.  Another excellent start saw him get to the front, where he stayed for a few laps until he was overtaken by the eventual winner of the race.

But P2 position he stayed, driving very well in the very poor weather, settling for a P2 finish and two Podiums for the weekend.  An excellent start to the season, and a positive mindset for the second meeting in a couple of weeks at Brands Hatch.
